More and more clients who are receiving help from our mobile Physiotherapist doing home visits are suffering from heart disease and Dementia related illnesses.

Increasing the amount of unprocessed, whole, plant based foods in your diet has shown to reduce the risk of heart disease, certain cancers and improve brain function.

Its okay to still eat some meat but do we need to eat meat every day?

“Most people realize that there are downsides to eating a lot of red meat,” says Dr. Francine Welty, a cardiologist at Harvard-affiliated Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Research showing the health benefits of plant-based diets has bolstered this awareness, she notes. It’s also helped to fuel the “veg-centric” movement that’s now trending in upscale restaurants, where creative, plant-based entrees are at the center of a diner’s plate instead of a chunk of meat.
